This blog tour is special! I am posting about a character from my newest novel! So please, say 'hello' to my main character, Justine Bodeau. Justine will have her own book cover for the novel,
Justine: Into the Blood, published by Creativia. This is how you will know her until I can reveal the cover!
MEET MY CHARACTER BLOG TOUR QUESTIONS:
1) What is the name of your character? Is he/she fictional or a historic person?
Justine Bodeau, fictional
2) When and where is the story set?
18th Century – turn of 20th Century
France and England
3) What should we know about him/her?
Justine was born in pre-Revolutionary France, orphaned as a child she is taken in by a family friend who employs her as a seamstress—eventually she winds up as a seamstress to the court of Queen Marie Antoinette.
Justine is strong willed and a survivor. Defeat does not occur to her. When she fights off an attack by an aristocrat that kills him, she is given refuge but is soon betrayed and winds up on the streets of Paris—where she is attacked and killed by rogue vampires. But for whatever reason, love will not let her die and the rest of the novel enlarges upon that.
4) What is the main conflict? What messes up his/her life?
Having been attacked and raised up as a vampire is her greatest conflict. She goes from wishing to be destroyed to wanting to survive. This, when she feels passion for the one who brought her back, Gascoyne—the one they call the Vampire Prince of Paris.
5) What is the personal goal of the character?
When her reason to exist is taken from her—she finds love in the most unlikely of places with another—yet there is hardship and horror too. Still, something in her drives her on, no matter how little reason there seems to be for her to wish to go on.
6) Is there a working title for this novel, and can we read more about it?
The working title is:
"Justine: Into the Blood"
It is the first novel in:
The Blood and Passion Series!
Please note: the next one in the series will take the reader back in time to witness a doomed affair in Ancient Egypt, a love affair that could never be. And by the way, the character makes her debut in book 1!
The story will take the reader from Ancient Egypt to more recent times and a surprising venue!
7) When can we expect the book to be published?
My publisher, Creativia knows it’s coming! They will fit it into their schedule. I should think late summer/autumn it will appear.

Author Mary Bernsen invited me to join this tour and I am delighted she did!Mary Bernsen is a southwest Florida native currently living in Punta Gorda with her two beautiful children and a third, much larger child that she affectionately calls husband.
She is a stay-at-home mother and spends her days creating characters on the good side of twenty-five because she is in serious denial about the fact that she is now on the bad side of it.
She has a passion for fantasy of any kind along with historical fiction. If she isn't having conversations with her made-up friends, you can usually find her clipping coupons or out on the boat enjoying the muddy waters of Peace River (as long as it isn't below 80 degrees).
